Work Polling Site on Election Day

I need your help to win this election! If you can work a polling site on May 7, election day, please email me at friendsofmichelleharris@gmail.com. I can use your help!!!

I cannot win this alone. While campaign donations are wonderful, there are many ways YOU can help! The most important thing you can do is vote. I can knock on doors, put out signs, and run the best campaign ever, but without your vote I cannot win. Please like my Facebook page, Friends of Michelle Harris and share my page and my posts! Word of mouth is one of the best ways to help me! Other ways you can help are working polling locations, door knocking, texting your friends and family, REMINDING them to get out and vote for Michelle Harris!

Michelle Harris has lived in Valparaiso for over 15 years and is an English teacher at Valparaiso High School. She is a graduate of Ball State University and Valparaiso University. She also serves as the Valparaiso High School Student Council Sponsor and the Freshman Class sponsor. Michelle is an active member of her temple and serves as the Temple Israel Board Secretary. She sits on the Valparaiso Fire Territory Board as the secretary. She is married to Chuck Harris, the Porter County Recorder. Together, they have three children. Michelle loves scrapbooking, traveling, working out, and walking her dog. Although her civic experience stems from her work with students in the classroom, she is excited to expand her outreach to the County Council and serve the people of Porter County in a broader capacity.

My decision to run for County Council is because I believe in being a public servant. My passion is to be a part of something bigger while serving the people in our community on a larger level. I have the drive and desire to make Porter County the best that it can be! I believe candidates who have strong moral and ethical values are more likely to make decisions that prioritize the common good and are aligned with the needs of the people they represent. I have a proven history of tackling challenges, and a dedicated record of serving the community with the primary goal of making a positive impact on people's lives.
